Grand Slam Tennis Updates with Softmod. Should I update?

Well, basically I got Grand Slam Tennis the other day and when I loaded it up in the Disc Channel it said I had to install an update in the game first. I have the softmod (followed this guide: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/773505) and cIOSCorp installed. Is it safe to install this update or should I use a different special grand slam tennis updater (if there is one)?
