Apple finally launched its iTunes music store in Latin America recently. The digital music download store was launched in Mexico on August 4, the first in the region. It´s funny cause allmost anyone reading this news that live in México would completely ignore who America Movil is just because they operate under a different name called Telcel. Tax evasion schemes perhaps?

I think people in latin america are well versed in methods of getting hold of music without paying the yankee cartels for it.

How can you compete with free?

Never heard of it either, but google it and you'll see its just the name of the corporation that controls telcel, it smells like Carlitos Slim may be evading some pesos in taxes :D
