This works like a charm. Simple. You need two xboxes to do this. One that is unbanned of course. Pull boards out of both boxes and switch serial numbers on motherboards so they match. File a repair 3RROD and send in for repair. Get it back unbanned. Now replace sticker a second time and send the banned board back in as a repair RROD. Get back from repaired unbanned. All for free.

yep. It worked for me. I've even sent in bad boards by switching the stickers and it worked. One I sent in had a junk DVD drive, junk board. Just matched up all stickers. Worked like a charm!

I've done junk drives before with RRoD consoles. I figured Microsoft would of hooked the motherboard up to their "machine" and scanned the motherboard.

if you send in your banned xbox,don't they check to see if its got rrod or E74.since your xbox is banned all they will see is a banned working 360.

You would have to switch chips for that to work. Come on guys, you know how to RROD your board. Heck, half the time they don't even check. I sent one in and said it had RROD and it didn't. Got it fixed anyway lol.

Considering I got banned for no reason or warning. Oh well. I help so many people on here and got banned for nothing. A warning would have been nice. Sorry I help people on my own free time for free. I guess they will have to try and block all 1000 of the IP's I own. LOL. OH and I only have one account...NOW. That is until they decide to ban me again for nothing. I just love how people post bull crap on here all the time against the rules and get a warning. Guess the mods have something against me.

Tell me about it, I was banned from having a referral link in my sig, no warning or anything... I learnt to accept it. But a few weeks ago I saw somebody with the same advetisement in their sig, and no ban, just told to get rid of it, not even a temp ban... the moderators have to have equal punishments.

There's always a reason, even if bannees don't agree with it. And if i myself make bad judgements (i do from time to time) i get them sorted out and apologise.

I accept I did something wrong, but somebody that does the same thing gets a warning, i get a ban, does that seem fair to you?

Without knowing the details i can't say. Referral links (for example) get instant perma-bans due to offenses against spam/advertising. It all depends what has happened, but as i say without details i can't comment on the other poster's treatment. I've been offline for 2 weeks so i'm still catching up with the goings on of late..

Don't think it is you creaky. There is a paticular mod that seems to have just a little too much power around here. Heck, like I said I offer my serivices for free. All he had to do is tell me to edit it, and it would have been gone. I in my case, had no link. I offered a reflow service for $20 and got banned. I just love the fact like people like washburn can offer modding serivces (which is illegal) and not get in trouble. Don't get me wrong, he's a good guy, but what the heck? I offer a legit service and get banned without warning.

yeah I know and it's retarded. If the mods want, I throw up several threads where people offer services. Damn, you know how many hours a day I spend on this site helping people? What rules did I break? If I did, I am sorry and thanks for the no warning. I just think it's a bunch of bull since they seem to let some people slide and not others. As stated above treat all equal. All you had to do is tell me and I would have edited my thread. I guess if I would have posted that I would mod his console it would have been okay.

lol you should have just taken the slap on the wrist and been on your way. You only have 3 days left and now you added this as a reason to permaban you.
I know a few people that have been banned and made a new name but they don't come back and give the mods a reason to hate them. Don't burn bridges, it's one lesson some people never learn.
