The Silverlight plug-in is made for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux...and it's surprisingly not as bloated as other M$ stuff. Musta been one of those products/technologies they bought out another company for! ;-)

No, it is not. There is no linux "silverlight". There is "moonlight", but that only supports Silverlight 1.0 stuff (already ancient history, there is no chance NBC will be using this).

I guess it's a numbers game...how many people have no TV, run linux (and only linux), and can handle 35 hours of tennis?

Hmmm...that's odd since M$ says it's supported on Linux on their website, though maybe I didn't look at the particular details. My bad, if so!

UPDATE: Yeah, after looking, it looks like Moonlight 2 is almost complete to support Silverlight 2.0. Figures M$ would misrepresent 3rd party ability to create a compatible Linux plug-in as supported BY THEM (trying to sound Linux-friendly).

I've been hearing that for a while, and I might believe it when I see it running on my PS3...until then, it is just more of Microsoft's lies.

Oh, and silverlight 3 is already out...so even once Moonlight 2 comes out, it will be outdated and useless anyway.
