Can any one tell me where to buy my fist connectivity kit I want the best and easiest to use I have a liteon drive

It depends where you are. I have a ck3 pro and they're easy to use. You will also need a probe for a liteon drive.

I'm in australia, so I'm not sure about american stores. But i've heard a few good reviews about modchips.ca, their prices seem good aswell.

Yep. I've frequented modchip.ca since 1993 and they always come through.

If by "core system" you mean Arcade, I wouldn't do it. Better to do it yourself for 2 reasons.
1: with the extra $60-$70 stores add to the price of the console, you could get the equipment to do it yourself.
2: What happens when you buy that 1.6 flashed console, and later 1.7 releases. Now you gotta buy the equipment anyway to upgrade.

I got mine from xecuter australia, they're the cheaper than quantronics.
