How to unspoof Hitachi in Jungle Flasher?

I have a hitachi 46 I spoofed as a hitachi 79. After doing it it doesn't work right so I want to restore it and try again but when after putting it into mode B jungle just crashes when I try dump it or anything like that. What do I have to do to get this back how it was, and is it worth just pressing the erase button? I have the original keys saved.

If the 46 is the original in your Xbox, then there is no point in spoofing it to look like something else. The only time that spoof feature is used is when you have to replace your DVD drive with one of another type. So if you had to replace your Hitachi 46 with a BenQ, you would spoof your BenQ as a Hitachi 46.

If JF is crashing, I'd look into fixing that before I started erasing or flashing anything. The Hitachi is the most sensitive DVD drive and one crash during a flash of a Hitachi and the Hitachi will be bricked.

This is because spoofing hitachi drives aren't typically spoofed. They are a pain and recommended to replace with a BenQ and they are the 1 # worst xbox 360 drive.

I removed my drivers for my VIA card and restored the 46 to stock. I then successfully spoofed it as a 79 but it looks as if the drive I was given does not originally match the console and this is why it dwill not work.
