WII 4.0 firmware Serial No. LEH1840 soft mod

can i soft mod this WII console? the number was not on the sticky for this topic, whats the best way to soft mod, will it brick the WII and if so are they recoverable.

If your serial is above LEH 1097XXXX there is a 98% chance you have the D2B chip. How do you get around this

pulled of another site the serial starts: LEH1840~~~

and the chip just has G2C D2C written on it, and no other line of text like normal

followed guide on the sd card bit i put sd card in nothing appears just says how many free blocks i have, i have now installed the homebrew channel and divx what else do i need to install to ru backups i did not install botmii do i need to?
