Get back to virgin state for wii without HBC

Hi,

I used to have virgin wii. Yesterday I blindly follow Larrylje's thread "NEW AND IMPROVED WII SOFTMOD GUIDE" to softmod my wii. Everything was exactly working as directed up to the end. After doing softmod I insert my original game DVD mario Kart in wii disc channel and wii was unable to read DVD. I freaked out and delete HBC and gamma channel instantly. Now when I am installing all over again to softmod my wii, when installing via SD card in the SD card tab I just see blocks. Nothing pop up to install boot.elf/dol.

I am using sysem menu 4.1, I read somewhere I need to downgrade to cIOS Downgrader 1.2. I insert cIOS Downgrader 1.2 files in SD card but how wii supoose to read it, basically wii is not detecting files.

Please help.

just wants to add something,

Original DVDs are working great via disc channel. I updated wii to 4.1U version.

If all you uninstalled was the HBC and NeoGamma then you do not need to downgrade. Just reinstall HBC then reinstall NeoGamma and you can go from there.

Are you positive you have all the proper files on the SD card to install the HBC again?

bannerbomb and the Hackmii boot.dol file at the root?

Make sure your going to DATA MANAGEMENT/CHANNELS not game data.

Larrylje, thanks for your reply. I just did what you said and now when I insert SD card, and try to install boot.elf I get a error message "Hackmi installer can not continue, make sure you are using latest version". I am using latest vesrion of boot.elf,

Please let me know.
