The website states that they accept payment through paypal, why is he looking for a WU transfer? Walk away, something's definitely wrong.

Once you pay by western union you have no come back, it cannot be traced, so if you pay that way you can kiss your Money goodbye, or just throw it away.

Why buy from china, when the dealers are all over the Uk, what might look cheap now will cost you dearly in the END.

All - about to buy a few SV4's & just wanted to check & see if people are happy with it. I'm aware of the recent power issue (for which I believe there is a fix for) but really I'm just looking to see if it's a decent buy & if the USB/PVR function works ok?

Thanks in advance.

Was talking to a girl in sat and cable yesterday and she said that from now on they will have the genuine ones rather than the clones. She said they are coming in on tuesday. If they aren't the genuine ones i will post back. Guessing the clones causing them to much hassle.

Here listen Mickah - I'll ask a question in this thread if I want to or not. I asked a question about a Starview box earlier in a Eurovox thread (my comment also contained references to a Eurovox by the way so I thought it was still relevant). You then asked me to keep it to a thread for Starview's only - which I then did without comment.

Now you're on here telling me what to ask & what not to ask.
I think you better just relax there & stop trying to control what people post/don't post because your 'nanny' approach is getting annoying.
I appreciate you provide regular assistance to people but if I want to find out if people are happy with a product before I buy 7 of them then I'll ask it!!!!

I asked you to keep it to one thread, that way people will be able to respond to you with their opinions, makes it better for all to read and contribute to it, what your doing is hopping about threads asking the same thing, trying to compare SV v Euro, people are gonna reply in various threads, I have answered you twice in different threads and gave my opinion, in fact I stopped ya parting money on HD boxs

Why didnt you create a specific thread to begin with instead of jumping into the middle of something else.

Its no wonder its hard for people to find anything when people insist on posting the same thing in various places. Just cause its your priority, doesnt make it every one elses.

A bit of common sense alround makes it easier for everyone.

I ordered 4 starview boxes from Skywonder yesterday. I never got an email confirming order from them. I tried to contact them by phone, and no one answered. I bought boxes from them before and everything was fine. Has anyone else had any problems with them?

Firstly in the eurovox thread you did advise that NT* HD channels are on N3 which saved me wasting on the EV 7000HD - which I thanked you for.
In the same post as I made in relation to the EV7000 I referred to the SV4. You came on & told me there was a fix for it (my question was in relation to what was the best box - not what fixes are out) & you told to keep my questions to the SV threads.
So I did this without commment.

Now I'm on 2 Starview threads (that's 2 only) asking the users of Starviews if they would recommend them or not. I would actually call this using "common sense" as it would be their opinion's which I would value before buying my next box for me & 7 of my relatives/friends. It's not my "priority" as you put it - but I'm using the 'forum/thread' to ask questions directly related to the subject of that thread.
And in fact it's also how I think these posts should be used. A Starview thread should be used for specific Starview questions/hints/advice & tips so I'm not sure what your gripe is but I think you need to relax a little trying to control every thread & their contents.
People are going to ask questions as you've seen & my advice to you if you want to your approach to contribute in each & every thread is to just relax a little on the control element.

I thank you again for your advice on the Eurovox 7000 HD (or should I have put this thank you in the Eurovox thread....see what I mean?)

anchorman

friend bought a box from them and box is fine apart from delivery as box was out of stock at the time and date kept on changing for them to get them in and it took them nearly 2 months to get it to him - was a Kryptview.
I guess once there in stock it should be ok.
