turned my console on a few minutes ago and got a E73 error.ive done a bit of searching and it says its an ethernet problem.surely this cant be right as this console has been hooked up to live via wireless adapter.can anyone clarify if this error is actually an ethernet problem or something else.its about time bill gates put some of that cash of his into making a more sturdy and reliable console.thats 6 consoles now that have died on me.

mabye the xbox ethernet port is damaged or the the cables of it are damaged.

I think the general consensus on that error is that you need a reflow to truly fix it.

It'll often say it's an ethernet error but it's actually not.

Options are send it to microsoft, get a proper reflow done (there's people on this site that do them), or go the dodgy route and follow this thread:
