Hey Guys,

Im wondering is somebody can clarify things for me. I have downloaded and installed abgx360_v1.0.1_setup.exe, and have installed iXtreme 1.6 firmware on my LiteOn drive. When i run abgx360 on level 2 and on level 3 on my Wanted game (ripped using shtrom, burned with XBC) it says stealth check passed, but verification fails. Im just confused because Wanted is in the list but i keep seeing threads saying update the .ini file. Does this version of abgx360 have the latest.ini file? Why does it not verify if wanted is in the list? The error is something along the lines of this:

Failed to find a verified ini file for this Xex/SS combination
Verification failed

The game boots and plays fine on my xbox, so as iXtreme 1.6 shouldnt boot unstealthed games without the activate.iso im guessing it is stealthed and good. Please claify for me guys? Thanks

Just because the game is on ABGX's list doesn't mean that your exact rip of the game is in the database. That happens a lot with ABGX.

Since you ripped it, though, it is perfectly safe.

Hey thanks for the quick response, is this version of abgx using the latest.ini files do i need to update anything? im also right in thinking iXtreme 1.6 for Liteon and 1.51 for Hitachi drives wont boot unstealthed games without the use of activate.iso?

Thanks again

Correct on all matters, my friend, including that the newest ABGX has an updated .ini file. Good call.

Just for a record, here's what that abgx360.ini should look like:

# http directory that contains verified ini files

web_inidir: http://www.abgx360.net/Apps/verified/

# http directory that contains unverified ini files
web_unverifiedinidir: http://www.abgx360.net/Apps/unverified/

# http directory that contains SS/DMI/PFI/Video stealth files
web_stealthdir: http://www.abgx360.net/Apps/StealthFiles/

# http path to GameNameLookup.csv
web_csv: http://www.abgx360.net/Apps/Stealth360/GameNameLookup.csv

# http path to abgx360.dat
web_dat: http://www.abgx360.net/Apps/Stealth360/abgx360.dat

# http form for submitting AutoUploads
web_autoupload: http://www.abgx360.net/Apps/Control/AutoUpload.php

Honestly I am not sure on the best procedure for that as I have never ripped my own games before. As far as I know, if you ripped your own, then it should be good. You might want to get somebody elses opinion on that, though.

If I rip my own game with a kreon drive, I've never worried about stealth checking it.

Thanks guys, i rip my games using shtrom v4 and a kreon drive. They should be OK then, but running it through abgx360 isnt going to do any harm is it. The reason i say this is i ripped Halo3 and abgx360 said verification failed. So i upped my settings to level 3 and let it fix it, run abgx360 again and verification passed. i then burnt it using XBC and it worked fine.

It is only because the CRC checks don't match extactly to the rip of your game. Most/all reference checks with ABGX are used based on group releases of the game which are available for download. If you are ripping a game from a pristine copy, you should have no issue.
