How to play ps3 back ups. i know how to burn it with a blank dvd-r. dont know what to buy to make it work

you can not fully backup ps3 games...

No offense but your post FAILS
1.) No such thing as a working ps3 backup.
2.) There's nothing to burn since they don't work.
3.) PS3 games won't fit on a blank dvd-r.

If you want to play back ups,buy a dev console.

Honesty isnt offensive,the thread starter,didnt use Google or didnt use the forums search function.
You can indeed back up games,but these games are not full backups,they are missing important data,so this renders them useless.

Can you burn a dowloaded backup (from newsbin) on to a blueray disk and just play it?
The reason I ask is because I dont have a PS3 and wont get one until they are hackable

The reason i quoted myself is because i have said so many times,that the games that you download od usenet,torrents etc are garbage,rubbish,trash,they are missing essential data,they are missing the keys.
You need to own the game to back it up on a dev console,or at least rent it and it will only work on the console it was backed up on.

That is the lamest and stupidest reason not to buy a console,quite simply,if you dont want to buy games and give the games developers the money they deserve,dont buy the PS3,you are the type of person who makes me hope the PS3 is never hacked.

Gosh... Did you even read the thread? Your question is already answered. And PS3 games won't fit on a dvd-r recordable. Not even on a DVD+R DL. PS3 = Bluray. And ps3 games can't be burned and played as of yet.

Not a fail at all. Being involved in CFW for the PSP does not necessarily equate to theft. Playing backups of one's own purchased games is preferable to using the UMD not only because it saves wear and tear on the drive, but because games also load faster from a memory stick.

i keep hearing the "not if you want to backup your games on a memory stick" defence, but how many people actually do that? If you have access to custom firmware i can assure you that you'll be playing ISO's or Playing ROM's. I dont think anyone uses it entirely for homebrew
