Hello,

With DVD Decryptor, I put a DVD movie (more tan 8GB) on my harddisk. It created 3 files a .I00, .I01 and a .MDS file. In that archive are all the VOB files I need to burn it to DVD+r. But how do I go from here, how do I unpack the files?
And then?

WKR

Use decryptor in the ISO read mode. Create the ISO file to the hard drive, load it with an emulator program, such as Daemon. Once the ISO file is loaded, no discs in any drives, the dvd x copy will recognize the file. Use the advanced selection in dvd x copy and continue. I always just check the file containing the movie if the entire file is overly large. The preview option can be used to make sure you are selecting the correct file. At this point is is all dvd x copy programming.

Go to doom 9 and look at the guides and downloads. Decryptor is usually used as part of a suite consisting of Decryptor, DVD Shrink, Nero, and Daemon. These work together with great results and the majority of users find that the ISO files produce superior quality. ISO is a bit more complex, but the guides explain and once settings are made it is easy to use. The ISO file is the entire movie file. Shrink can still edit the file any way you wish and decryptor still creates the mds file when set.

Just a note. In DVD Platinum you have the choice of burning multiple discs or using compression. Depending on the setting. Here is a little known fact for you. In the 321 file in Programs in the Windows files, you can open it up to find an instruction manual (complete) for your version of DVD X Copy Platinum, if it is one of the later versions. The original v3.2.1.0 didn't have it. I know it is in v4.0.3.8 and the RF versions. It is in PDF format, so you have to have Adobe Reader to open it. The Reader is free and can be downloaded from Adobe or any of a number of sites.
