Need help installing Wii backup launcher

Hey
I am having trouble installing backup launcher on my Wii (only to play backups of my own games) I have tried many different tutorials including this one on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLHkMWFIH1Q but when I go to install the cios36 rev7 it comes up with ticket error...ret 2011. I think that might because I have rev 10 though. I have coverfloader but dont have a usb big enough to use it. So is there a way to uninstall cios36 rev 10 so I can install rev 7 or is there something else i should be doing. My serial number is LAH102.....

cIOS36_rev10 is better then rev7 so why would you want to go back to rev7?

Are you sure you even have a cIOS installed?

What firmware is your Wii System on?

What all have you installed or attempted to install so far?

I am having a problem myself.

I unfortunately am using firmware 4.1u, but found a GREAT guide to install the homebrew page. But everything else fails. All i really would like to do is install the backup launcher. Can anyone assist me in this?

This is the document i used before. I tried it again...verbatim and when i get to the WAD installation it says at the end....

"Installing WAD, please wait...
>> Installing ticket.. ERROR! (ret = -2011)

I am unsure of what this error is. Can anyone help?

did you follow the full guide?

You cant just install the backup launcher and that is it. You need to do the full guide.

There should be no reason to if you did it properly.

All I can do is tell you to follow the guide as is.

I tried a 3rd time and it seems to have worked better this time.
Is there a special way to burn an a wi iso to make it run under the neogamma? Or is there another application i must install for this all to work...like i do need the backup launcher?

NeoGamma is a backup launcher.


For best results use Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R media. Burn at half the rated write speed using IMGBurn.

Seems like things installed correctly, but my backup still wont run. It's a memorex DVD+R. Heard that Taiyo Yuden was top of the line and medium could be my only last issue, so i ordered a bunch of those. I guess in the end if that doesnt work, i'll have to hire sometime to do this to work!

Use DVD-R Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. Some Wii system don't like DVD+R so use DVD-R for best results.

You could also try to booktype the Memosux DVD+R media to DVD-ROM. If you want to know how to booktype then go HERE.
