Samsung drive swap to Hitachi

Here is the story..

I have two xbox 360's.

One with a Hitachi drive is RROD dead(spent days on it..ITS DEAD)

My other Xbox 360's Samsung drive is broken.(drive wont play anything) The xbox works fine other then the drive. (downloads play fine)

I want to take the Hitachi drive that is working and replace it in the xbox360 with the non working Samsung.

This is a really confusing problem and I'm having a hard time figuring out what I need to do.

when you say the sammy is broken, does it just not read disks? if so, your better off googling "pot tweak" for the drive or buying a new laser. hitachi drives suck(trust me i have 2)

Yeah, Hitachis are junk. If you want a brand new BenQ drive, let me know. PM if interested.

Sammy is making weird sounds and stuff too. I'm pretty sure its dead. I'm afraid to put anything into it lol.
