hi all im thinking of ordering a high gain package from bubblesupplys that comes with the box t and mesh aerial so i rang chorus but they said i couldnt get it due to my location but they where going on the nearest village and thats in the bottom of d valley im about 400ft elevation but across the valley between me and the transmitter is a hill that at its peak is 700ft. if the transmitter is where i think it is..little carron on the ballyhoura mountains then it must be around 1300ft.does any1 know if i would pick it up? dont really want to spend 150 on something that wont work like. distance wise im just under 30km from the transmitter and the hill in the way is about 3km from me. thanks to any1 who can give a bit of advice.

ah i forget to say that if i do a digital search with my tv i can pick up the four rte channels and the 2 radio stations all have sound but no picture. can anyone tell me whats going on there as i only have a normal digital aerial? thanks again

hubs my advice to you is to borrow an aerial from a freind (1 that is easily accessable)and see what happens only way of knowing for sure......

you could search afterdawn market place where i am sure you could pick it up a lot cheaper who knows some guy down youre road could be selling same worth a search.

hey thanks for the heads up lads..wish i knew someone with mmds it would make life simpler. think i might forget about it if nag3 is not far away..even if it worked how long would it last? sat card sharing looks like d way forward
