Hi all,

I have a Wii with a Wii Key installed (I believe it's version 1.9g - SSB and SMG play fine). However, I'm getting a black screen when I try to play new games such as Grand Slam Tennis, from what I've read it's due to the Wii's firmware not being updated (It's currently 3.3U). So my question is what's the easiest way to update this, leaving me with a non-bricked Wii? I'm really not interested in homebrew, or anything besides it playing Wii and Gamecube games.

I can't seem to find an exact tutorial for this anywhere.

You cant find a tutorial because there isnt one. Just update it. No firmware has effected a modchip, only homebrew. If you dont care about homebrew then just connect the wii to the internet and update the firmware.
