BootMii Correctly Installed in Boot2

I have preloader, BootMii on IOS, and BootMii on Boot2.

I've read that certain people are unable to install BootMii on boot2, and I think mine said it installed successfully and everything on both boot2 and IOS.

If I were to turn my Wii on, hold reset, and BootMii come up instead of preloader, does that mean BootMii is correctly working on Boot2, and I am free to try any random install as long as I have a back up of my NAND?

You need to have the files for Bootmii on the sd card for Bootmii to come up when you power on your Wii. If you are able to get to Bootmii without first loading HBC or anything then yes, it's installed as boot2. Make a backup of your nand and you're good to go.
