i recently downloaded 2 different iso files full of games for the various emulators mentioned above, the instructions were to simply burn the iso using imgburn which i did do.

now when i put the dvd into the wii i get the gamecube welcome screen and when i attempt to load it, it just resets the system, any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Are you using the gamecube controller?

The best way to use these emu's IMHO is to put the emu on your sd card along with the roms. I do have working DVD's of most emu's but find I prefer the sd way more and more.

yeah i have gc controller in and memory card in and still nothing, just keeps resetting.

can you point me in the direction of a SD card guide?

is there a usb method? i have a 500gb external hard drive connected to the back of my wii.

Just download the emu's from wiibrew, follow the instructions given and put your rom files in the rom folder.

You are modded somehow yeah? DVD or SD won't work unless you are.
