Downloaded Wii games not playing

I have had my chipped wii for about a year now and it always played any games I downloaded [well most of them]. I have about 50 odd games all saved to DVDR's and they play fine. I haven't downloaded a game for about 3 months but decided to download 3 games. All in PAL format and all verified by other users as playing fine.

On all three it does the same thing..The title comes up in the main screen [right hand corner box], clicking on that loads the main game full screen screen fine, but when I try to continue from there I get a blank screen, the wii freezes and the remote turns itself off

has anyone any ideas what's going on?

Maybe you wouldn't have this problem if you actually bought your games.

maybe I wouldn't my newbie friend but that doesn't cure my problem
