I've just installed my sh-d163b or whatever it is, and i ripped a game using xbc. I then used image tools to stealth check and it passed. But how can I be sure the game partition didn't mess up or something during the ripping process? Is there any way to check the ISO against my disk for 100% verification?

Thanks in advance.

If you run it through ABGX, that will verify all segments of the game.

If you don't want to use ABGX and just want to compare DVD to ISO, you can use the 'Verify' feature when burning your disc using ImgBurn. It will make sure there was a 1:1 copy from ISO to DVD.

Well i don't think you can check your own rips with ABGX360, as it's database only has scene-rips. But when I try to use imgburns verification utility, it tells me

"Session 1, Track 1 is smaller on the disc than it is in the image file you're comparing it to.

Disc's Track Sectors: 3697696 (TOC Sectors 3697696)
Image File's Track Sectors: 3825924 (TOC Sectors 3825924)

Would you like to continue anyway?

Bah, the imgburn verify tool is not working. Does that mean my rip is bad?

if i rip one myself i can usually smell it. if it doesn't smell... it probably wasn't mine.

All the tuts i've seen never mention using game partition for ripping games, even my own i never use it,as for 100% verification if the rip completed then it will be fine, well 120 completed rips so far & none have failed gives me a 100% success rate so you should be fine too,as for abgx that's only as good as the last update & most recently added files to database, then again i don't go online so it's of no concern,if memory serves wabashman mentioned when creating own rips abgx isn't necessary as you already have the files you need from the disc,HOWEVER DON'T QUOTE ME ON IT,you best check.

I don't use imgeburn i use clonecd to do the burn

Edit: forgot to mention i use verbatims from singapore & burn at 1x or 2x-2.4x,even if the disc could burn faster i wouldn'nt,like the speeding car adds says "the faster you go the bigger the mess"
