I was told that I could use an Edge DS card and a MicroSDHC card to copy lots of games onto. My daughter is going away for 2 weeks and I wanted to give her lots of games to keep her occupied!! I have been given a DVD with all of the games. After I have loaded all of the Edge software and the games onto the Micro SDHC card, when I put it into the DSi, it just says 'there is no game card inserted in the DS Game Card slot.
I'm afraid that I am only just past the 'utterly technically incompetent' stage. Are Edge cards compatible with the DSi? Can any one help?
your Edge DS Card is NOT compactible with DSi consoles.
If your DSi console have 1.3 firmware, then you can buy a EZVi or Supercard DSONEi or Acekard 2i or M3zero, (these cards doesnot work on 1.4 at the moment.)
It's only slightly more expensive than dealextreme but it has faster shipping (if you ever bought from deal extreme, you know their shipping takes forever, usually around a month). Also, it does have free shipping, just like dealextreme.
It seems that edge card have been stopped to manufacturing? As I made an order on depot888, but they said it is out of stock! Can i order a R4 instead?
the R4 does not work with the DSi. the R4 team has also stopped releasing updates. looks like someone made an R4i flash cart that works with the DSi but it is just another r4 clone so buyer beware.

yes no longer make Edge card. many clones of r4, r4 iii, r4 sdhc... u'd better buy another one. I suggest M3ds real.
