Have downloaded a cdf file to my computer but it will not open. Need help please.

How and why are you trying to open it? Or what program are you using to open it with ?

I believe the cdf file has the Fix for EuroVox 5000pvr & was trying to open the file through Windows 98 2nd. edtion.

Unfortunately you believe wrongly. A CDF is a CHANNEL DATA FILE, which is merely the channels for a particular area/provider.
