Hi can anyone help I brought a starview 4 and get 0002 or 8882 on my box,I have since found out its a clone and I put the last new firmware on it. I have since tried contact the guy who sold it to me, but he wont return my emails. I brought a second box off him which is a eurovox and is not a clone, this was before the starview 4 went off, not sure if I can name him on here, as I don't want to break any rules. But if other people knew his name when they pay on paypal or bank transfer, then at least it would stop this guy making money. Anyway does anyone know if this can be fixed? I hear the jtag works but I don't have a clue how to fit it. or could someone give me a link to send it off for repair. thx in advance for any help

reckon you wont break any rules if ya change second letter of name with a dot, people will still recognise name, personally im all for naming dodgy suppliers.

They are not dodgy as they openly sell clones, its not as if people dont know, they just seem to think cheaper is best, until the sh$$ hits the fan, cheap is not always best.

I paid £97 which is about the going price at the moment, I have seen them for 69-79, so you can a bit more and still get ripped off.

i think i heard someone get a max32 kit,and modify it for the clone box as it was made for the originals only, instuctions come with it.
you need a pc with com port and xp to work not a usb and a null modem cable, you are lucky in uk you can use v1.07,in irl all we have is clone killing firmware..

should have said the 8882 the max32 can fix but if bootloader is fecked as not powering on no fix,and return to seller if under warranty.
