How to install PortIO32.exe manually?

I got an error telling me to please install PortIO32.dll manually after opening PortIO32.exe

Can someone help me get this thing installed?

Are you using Vista/Win7 or XP?

Here is a manual install for PortIO.

I am using windows 7 and I am having the same problem. How do you install it?

Click Start and type "hdwwiz" without quotes into the search box. That allows you to launch the same Add Hardware Wizard you had in previous versions of Windows.

I tried that but the only thing that comes up is portio32.inf When i open it it says that the folder you specified doesnt contain a compatible software driver from your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with windows for x64-based systems. Any ideas?

Yes you have to run in with 32 bit windows

it wont work with 64bit

i had that problem and ended up installing it on my old pc with XP

Jungle Flasher v0.1.69 is 64bit compatible. Make sure you read the info on PortIO64 running on 64bit systems.

Open the jf folder , than right click on jungle flasher icon & run as administer, should be good to go

hi from what i've read in the new JF manual (0.1.70) you don't need to install any portIO drivers as they are 'on the fly portIO' drivers for x32 and x64 bit systems.

or you can take a look at p.140 of that same handbook and use the workround to disable driver signing.
