Hello All

I am new to backing up games so can some one tell me if these drives will work

https://www.modchip-store.co.uk/search.php?mode=search&page=1&keep_https=yes

I have been reading other post and it seems these are older drives but some people say you cant find these but on ebay, any help on a newer guider with alternative drives would be helpful.

my xbox 360 is modded
I have Schtrom360Xtract 4.0
I have a dual layer burner
so i think i just need a samsung drive right?

Here is the list of drives that can be flashed with Kreon:

Samsung SH-D163A (SATA)
HP TS-H353A (SATA)
Samsung SH-D163B (SATA)
HP TS-H353B (SATA)
Samsung SH-D162C (IDE)
HP TS-H352C (IDE)
Samsung SH-D162D (IDE)
HP TS-H352D (IDE)

Or you can use a XBOX 360 Lite-ON, BenQ, or Samsung drive flashed with 0800 firmware.

Schtrom should work. XBOX Backup Creator 2.9 works too.

With 0800 firmware, you don't have to half tray the drive. It should automatically be recognized by Windows. If not, might have a driver issue. If you are using the VIA card, you need the 5.30c driver installed.
