Open decrypter
Choose file read
Save files in hd

Open shrink
Click Open files
Navigate to the folder u have ripped the movie in

Shrink will examine the structure and select the compression needed.

hi dave
If youve got Nero already then why use decrypter?
Shrink will do everything decrypter will do and more, and eliminate the unneeded step of using decrypter. The only time I use decrypter is when ive found a disc that shrink wont do.
good luck and welcome to the club
jim

i think i need to use decrypter because the dvd is too large to compress in it's entirety with shrink. i need to use decrypter to deselect a couple of the chapters (it's a music dvd)to make it small enough for shrink to fit on a DVD-5. it seems to have a fairly large lpcm audio track (1.4g). please tell me if there's another way of doing it. thanks

hi again dave

youve been misinformed, dvd decrypter wont do that, but shrink will in the reauthor mode look at this guide:http://www.dvdshrink.info/reauthor_basic.php

or this one if you need to print it out:http://www.chrismccann.co.uk/DVD_Shrink_Re_Author.htm
that one is outdated but the methods are the same
dvd decrypter will only do dvd 5's (under 4.36gb)without help from a shrinking program ie. dvd shrink,dvd2one etc.
good luck
jim
