i want to play lbp with other players, but every time i go to [community] in main menu and coose a level i find myself playing the level alone without another players.
how can i know how many players are playing in the level at the time i enter it? (there is a small bobble by every level, which shows a small sackboy and a number, i thought it is the number of players playing in the level but when i go into the level there are no players in it)
i played with 2 more players one time and i still dont know how did i do it.

They don't have any identification to show how many players are in the game (that I know of). But when you go online, and select a level, you can select to play with others, or by yourself. But not every level has people in it 24/7, so you will just have to keep looking around.
first, i forgot to say that i always pressed the play online button.
second, it is realy disappointing that u cant know how many players there are in every level.
i always thought that there is something i dont see, which can indicate about the number of players in every room, but it seems like there is nothing like this.
if you cant connect with people online in levels turn your internet box of.i got the same probelem and i no its very anoying.if you get a thing that says connection tape warning thats good because you can connect with others but you find a lot of people on levels with lots of hearts and plays and the bubble is how many prize bubbles you got in the level
You will be hard pressed to find anyone to play the game levels with. LBB is old enough now that the novelty of those levels is gone. Better chance finding people in community (which i see from your post you are trying to do). The LBP community is so saturated with user levels now, it's difficult to choose just any one to find people on. I would recommend using the search community feature where you can find either the newest published levels, or busiest levels. Searching by the most hearted or most played doesn't always work. Most people on LBP have a long friends list by now and don't rely on searching for new people. What you could do is when you do find people on a board, and they do play it with you, send them a request to add you as a friend. At least by doing that, you'll build up a list of people with LBP who might be on when you are. Feel free to pm me your userid and I'll send you a request. I won't be on as much due to Arkham Asylum Addiction Syndrome, but you could always send me a message when you're on and I'll see if I'm in the position to boot the game up :)

i have already started finding people online and i added another player to my friends list.
i tried to to find a level with players in the search option and i tried "bussiest" but there were no players (i'm not trying to say that this system isn't good).
i think they should do a lobby system like every other online game.
