Flash a BenQ in another Xbox

Ok, I just bought a Benq Drive to swap with my samsung and need to clarify something.
My friend is going to flash this new Benq drive so it can work with my xbox. I am just gonna give him the drive and he will put it in his xbox JUST to flash it with the files I give him. Will this mess up his Xbox in some way?
Also, when I swap drives, do I:
1. Get the keys from my orig.bin that came from my samsung, and put them in a iXtreme 1.6 file for Benq.
2. Flash it.

You will want to spoof your DVDkey to the BenQ. In Jungle Flasher:

Load your original Samsung firmware into source.
Load IX 1.6 for BenQ into target.
Click Spoof Source to Target.
Get BenQ into vendor mode and write the firmware.

Thanks! Very fast response, but will my friends xbox be fine if he sticks my drive in there for 30 seconds to flash it?

hi I have just copied my drive key for my benq drive and firmware to a save file and tried to flash the firmware onto another benq drive because my original benq was goosed.The drive will only play as dvd and I don't know why.Can anyone help please?????I used jugleflasher and everything seemed to copy over fine until I had this crappy dvd problem

Sounds like the key didn't get flashed.

What had happened was the drive that was in the 360 originally I had messed around with for a friend as it is not mine and I managed to get the laser to read the games.But then 3 mths later stopped working again.
I flashed my first benq the other day,and I thought I could do this just the same
These are the steps I took
connected sata to master on p.c
turned on xbox and started jungleflasher
unlocked benq and read the original drive
I saved the key/ofw/cfw all in a folder in my documents
I then took all the same steps with the new drive and attepted to write ofw as source and target was ix1.6.bin file
Is this correct?

i've done it but thankyou anyway.But while I am on the subject of benq I have an elite and I shorted out the power on the drive with no drive key saved
I now it sounds like I am stuffed but I think that the drive should be able to power up somehow just enough to read the key and firmware.
Your help or anyone else that has had the same experience would be appreciated
