Any experience w/ Ebay sellers - Silver account w/ 5000 points

Here's an example of a listing (hope its ok to post ebay links):

The feedback looks good and the instructions make sense, but would still like to know your experience/thoughts on these kind of listings. Is the only "downside" having an xtra account stuck on ur 360?
Is it true that I can buy Castle Crashers w/ this ebay Gamertag account, log out and login w/ my personal Gamertag and play Castle Crashers online?
sum1 already had stevedawg and stevedawg85 is longer than 10 chars :(

I didn't think that DLC was transferrable between gamertags.
Might be wrong though!

You would think they stole the account and bought the points with the credit card on there which is why they tell you to spend the points ASAP. But idk, it's from hong kong.

But another question... 5000? why that amount? Why not 4000 or 1600. Can you even buy 5000 points from the dashboard?

Because 5,000 > 4,000 ?
Maybe they figured out a way to cheat the system or are using fake credit cards.
I don't know. Either way it doesn't sound like a legitimate business.

that and the seller states you can use the donwloaded content on any account on your console which is total BS. it can only be used on the account it was downloaded on.

wrong (unless i'm misunderstanding you)
i downloaded monkey island with my vtocorleone account on my living room 360. i then took my account (via memory card) into my bedroom to play another game while my girlfriend used her silver account to play monkey island on the living room 360.
any account can play xbl games on the original 360 that it was downloaded onto. if you take your gamertag to another 360... you can download and play the xbl game but that gamertag must be signed in to play.

right, but i cant download something on my wabashdude account, and play it on my brothers ato09 account that is also on my console for when he plays at home (which is what the seller is stating you can do).

it's still up in the air if it's legit or not though. i'd go ahead and purchase it OP. if the person did use a stolen credit card... i don't think they can come after you as you purchased it through ebay with the thought it was legit.

ummm... isn't that like the example i gave with me and the other account? she played the xbl game, with her gamertag, while i (who purchased the game) was palying another game on my other console.
the way i see it... if he gets the gamertag off of ebay and downloads 5000 points worth of xbl games on a console... any gamertag on that console will be able to play those games.

so if i go to south central LA and buy a car from a guy who i thought was legitimately selling it, i cant get busted for buying a stolen piece of property??
OP, i would just buy a MS point card off of ebay. i bought a 4000 point card the other month for around 30 bucks. im attempting to find the guy i bought it from, but with the amount of stuff i do on ebay, its proving hard to do. i had the code within 10 minutes of sending the payment.
found it...the guy i bought my points off of was yang48300.

i don't think you'd get busted for it... you'd probably get nailed on the financial end of things possibly (when they return the car to the owner and the thief can't reimburse your money) but i have no reason to think you'd get legally in trouble for it.
right now you're dealing with credit cards more than likely... if you're in good standing with your credit you can always get your money back if you fall victim to fraud.

just did a lil googling, and buying stolen stuff can definitely get you into trouble (jail time, fines, etc). most of these happens when the buyer cannot prove they didnt know it was stolen property. so i guess if it sounds to good to be true, then dont buy it.
