Hi all, these forums look quite helpful so far so I'm crossing my fingers in hopes that someone can help :-). I was wondering if any of you ever encountered this problem.. my Audio/Video outputs are not working, both the composite and the HDMI. The composite does send audio out to the TV but there is no video signal. I get nothing from the HDMI. I have, of course, check the TV/HDTV toggle switch and did some additional experiments with a friends Xbox, my cords are fine and it's not the TV (His box worked with both of those factors) so there is obviously a problem with the box itself, more specifically the audio/video connection. Everything else works fine, my friend could see me sign into live when I turned on the box and let it sit, and it would load the game I had in the drive (again, my friend could see my status on live).
The Xbox is out of warranty due to me opening it up to fix the red ring (which worked wonderfully) so I am not afraid to get in there. There is a real possibility that it got bumped since I do take it on the road with me to friends houses for LAN parties and such. Any ideas, suggestions or past experiences with this problem?
I had the same problem and couldnt find anything on it but luckily i found this you should check it out. You are going to have to pay 1.99$ for the repair guide but it comes with many other repairs so it is worth it.

You could also get all of those repairs for free on the web elsewhere. Nice spamming..
It most likely means your GPU went out. You are going to need to send it in.
im not spamming! im am just telling him how i fixed my no video problem so think what you want but it helped me out. and plus how is he going to send it in since he has already broken the seal.

Well then if you are such a nice guy why not copy and paste over here what the "all knowing guide" says to do for his problem?
Since you know, you had the same issue.
Or why not just let him know how you fixed it? Instead of spamming some pay site.

Surely jshosho can at least give PBMagus the steps to correct the problem in their own words.
