How old the the console have to be for MS to fix it for free, i have a console that the MFR date is Feb 2006? Also i just took a MS warranty sticker off with a heat gun, and notice a black dot on the sticker. Is the sticker still good or not?

3 years i believe, and the sticker should be fine.

ive sent consoles back way past 3 years and they were fine... so if you are close then it should be fine.

The dot on the sticker means it was refurbished by Microsoft.
