softmii SU FAILED error

ok im trying to install themes on my wii but i cant backup my original wii theme because when ever i try to start the softmii nand dumper i get a SU FAILED error. and same with if i start softmii.

so i guess what im asking, is can i just use some one elses wii theme backup? and if i could then could some one post it and also is tehre another program out there that i could use to load wii themes with?

and by the way i am running bootmii off boot2 and i have backed up my nand file.
