I flashed my Xbox360Hitachi drive at least 2/2 1/2 years ago. No idea what firmware it was, its been so long. I have since been kicked off xbox live, not a big deal to me. However, any new game that comes out, I can still play the burned copy of it. GHWT Metallica, Madden 2010, Batman, etc. Why is that? My friends Benq needed reflashed to play the newer games, but mine just keeps going and going. Not that I am complaining, but why is that?
yes, that is it. it was non stealth. So, why is it still allowing me, is it some freak firmware that never needs updated? I should not even update it if it working, right? I have been banned on that box already.
The newer games gave an error in the stealth check with newer firmwares, therefor they wouldn't boot up. As your firmware isn't stealth at all it doesnt't do a stealthcheck, so no error and the games boot up. You are already banned on that console, I wouldn't bother flashing another firmware to it.
