now you can download the full games (not talking about arcade games), and obviously you don't need the disc inside your xbox360 to play it.
so is there any way to install a game (with the disc) then play it without the disc inside?
or do we still need the disc inside even if we install it?
it would be so nice because i have 120gb hd and a lot of games installed and i don't want to switch disc every time i want to play another game.

so if you only buy the full download games and install like 20 games on your hd, you don't have to change the disc every time and can do everything from your couch?

You're talking about the Games on Demand? Yes you can download those and don't need the disc in. But if you install a game by disc then you will still need it in there.

yeah i'm talking about the games on demand.
it would be so sweet to somehow trick the xbox360 to think that the installed games are games on demand so we don't need to have the disc inside.
then i can just play any game i want from the couch.

I actually would like the same thing. Not because of laziness, but because of a 2 year old child. This way I could lock my game discs up so he couldn't get his hands on them....
Its insane how resourceful kids are, I can put them ANYWHERE and he will find them in a matter of minutes. It'd be nice to be able to put them on the HDD and put the discs up for safe keeping, locked away, in a safety deposit box...where he doesn't know how to use a key yet...
