buying movies on video market place

so you can either buy a movie or rent it?
so if you rent it, what happens?
it will be downloaded to your hd then after like 3 days, will it magically disappear from your hd?
how does it work?
i couldn't find any guide on the video market place.

Uh.. it stays there forever. You just can't watch it. It explains all of it to you in the scrolling text where you buy the movie. (if you rent it)


If you purchase it, it will stay on your HD forever as well but you can watch it whenever.

If you try to watch an expired rental then you will probably get some error.

Whatever you download is digitally signed to that console. So if you take the HDD and put it on another 360 it won't work unless you re-register the HDD content. You can only do this once a year though.

So basically if you are thinking of somehow copying the rented movie over to another HDD or your computer it wont work.
