Quote:I'm not an expert but I think you need an SD card to run the homebrew and external HDD at the same time
Actually thats not 100% correct, if your HDD is partitioned and working properly with your wii then you SHOULD beable to use the FAT partition on the HDD in order to load your homebrew apps. this works with mine, and i have USB Loader GX app on my FAT partition on my HDD, which loads and then reads the games on my WBFS partition on my HDD.
I hope you can get this sorted, I do know that partitioning is fussy, your FAT partition needs to be the FIRST one on your drive, and needs to be ACTIVE and formatted to FAT32 - im not too sure that FAT16 works!
(*) My backups are LEGALLY MADE COPIES of games I already own, I have got 3 Sticky fingered children, each with their own Wii in their room, so the backups are made of the originals, and the originals stored in the loft incase of scratching, fingerprints or other miscellaneous damage. I own a RETAIL COPY of all backups that I make. I DO NOT CONDONE PIRACY!

hi thank for ur reply
it work great my question how can i get cover image on the game in the usb loader gx..please help me..but i have 472 image but dont know where to put it
Your file structure looks ok, what happens if you load your homebrew channel without your SD card inserted, but WITH your HDD plugged in?
Looking at the ports on the back of your Wii, your HDD should be plugged into the RIGHT HAND USB port, as the left hand one is reserved for other peripherals (e.g. wii speak), and WONT work with your HDD.
I'll help the best I can, just give me the info to work with! =)

Quote:The database site that USB Loader GX uses for coverart is down right now.
...and has been down for a while now. I like GateFlorida for covers, has about 98% of the ones i have been searching for recently, just a shame you have to search for the images by CODE and not by NAME...
