Enter WET, a game featuring an attractive woman with a sword and guns and bullet-time. Thankfully, based on our time with the game, it does more than simply play on the attractions of the male gamer stereotype, it's actually pretty fun.
If taking control of sword-wielding, gun-toting, bullet time-using female badass sounds like your cup of tea, you'll be happy to know that a demo is now available on Xbox Live. Go get it.
i'm interested to see how this game plays. it seemed like a decent premise but theres no hupe behind it and everybody know hype = great game. see too human.
I had some high hopes for this game when i saw the trailer over a year ago and today I played the demo and to be honest its not as good as I thought it would be. The action seems quiet slow considring that its a hack and slash game, the graphics could of been better the first level is in chinatown or somthing and lots of asians keeps on reminding me of Stranglehold. Im a big fan of hack n slash games and i think the japs do a good job ay making hack n slash and RPG games, Westoners should stick to FPS and TPS games.
the only thing i liked about this game is where the screen went all red and your enemys were white. other than that. i am glad i played it, now i know not to waste my time with this title.
yea i'd have to say i wasn't too impressed, although i wasn't really expecting to be. Which is a same considering its bethesda and i have enjoyed all their other recent titles. However this is one to check out by them coming next spring called brink http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/990/990185p1.html
Right as soon as the demo booted up, "Stranglehold" popped in my head for some reason. Maybe it was the graphics or general atmosphere. Then I played it for a few minutes. With the grainy effect, music, and pre-rendered action, it's what I'd imagine a video game would be like if Quentin Tarantino made it.
I, too, thought it would have been super-fast paced... but then again it was the beginning of the game. It may pick up more once you get further in to it.
