pro model not getting cut?

according to sources the pro model was supposed to be cut and replaced with the elite. but now the retail spys are saying and now proving that the pro will stay. if this is the case, wow.... what a kick in the nuts for sony lol.
looks like this is how it is going to go down
arcade $199
pro $249
elite $299
and target is now throwing in two conrtollers? sweet..

I love this new price cut. Although I don't see why Microsoft decided to make each model only 50$ different.
Only downside is that Microsoft is not including any kind of HD cable with the Elite.

yea but you can get a 6 foot (which is long enough for 99% of the users) on ebay for like 5 bucks with shipping.

Ffs, in Australia the arcades are still $299, $1 aud = 81c usd... microsoft needs to fix up the price differences.
Anyway I hope the pro doesn't get cut, otherwise the arcade would be the only white console, it'd be too empty (unless they release an xbox 360 slim).

I know. But Microsoft always had 1 up to the PS3 because the PS3 didn't/doesn't come with any type of HD cable. Microsoft was nice enough to give a component and HDMI cable.

They don't need an xbox slim for now... but it would be nice to see a revamped console when natal is released.
