I tried to softmod my wii but it still wouldn't play backups. So I stupidly downgraded from 4.1 to 3.3 because I wanted to start the process over. Now all I get is a black screen. The power light is green and I can eject the disc, but that's it. Can I undo this or is it a done deal?

I had it installed as an iso. I tried to hold the reset while powering on but it didn't work.

Did you have a modchip installed?

If not buy a Modchip and use savemii or savemiifrii and an auto-boot disc that you can find by doing a little searching. But you need a Modchip to do it.

I usually search before I ask, but this particular time I was rushing to work and didn't have the time.
I see that it is a hardware device. But the sucess of this product has been mixed. I'll do more research.
