Hello people, I have been having issues flashing my old 360's Samsung drive. I've been trying to flash the Ixtreme 1.6 firmware on it coming from 1.4. Each time I flash the drive, whether it's with Jungle flasher 0.1.64. It goes through just fine. But when I try to play a backup, it doesn't play anything, including the original copies. I tried the Iprep 008.8 method, & was able to read the memory banks with dsam and flash the firmware with fsam. When it's finished writing to the memory banks, the final code I see on the last time is 774A. Does anyone know what that means and why would my drive go through each flash as if it completed fine with no errors.
We'll in Jungle Flasher, the only error I've received was error entering intro mode. That's only if I attempted to unlock the drive. But clicking on intro mode and then turning the drive on and off works fine. It goes through the reading banks fine. It also writes to the drive fine. I've never had a error that stopped the flashing once. But when I try to play back the backup of my games that work on the 2 other 360's I have. They don't work including the original games. I've tried the Iprep 008.8 way that's been successful for me with other systems I've flashed. But again it goes through each step whether it's reading the memory banks or writing to the memory banks fine. When it's done, and it spits that last line of information. The code I see is a 774A code. Which I'm assuming means the flash isn't on the drive even though it went through OK.
My other problem is, my PC hard drive I saved all of my OFW.bin files on, died a month ago. So I don't have the OFW.bin to put it back to normal. So I've been fighting with this system trying to get it to accept the new firmware flashes. It almost makes me think the firmware is on their or enough of it's that the drive operates. But it's not enough information for it to read any discs. I don't have issue ejecting the drive. I'm just at a lost for why my flashing go through with no errors during writing or reading the firmware or even after it's done besides the 774A code at the end.
