What to do with my Starview 2/3 boxes...

So from reading this forum it looks like my starview 2 and 3 boxes are useless as they cant get around nagra. Should I just chuck them out or is there someone somewhere that has a use for them ?

Im in Ireland.

best thing to do is sell them to someone across the water that way you get something back for them and they get more use out of them.

Ah - I didnt know they could be still used in the UK. What would be fair individual asking prices for a starview 2 and a starview 3 ?

Im clueless, Ive been traveling south America for the past many months and am out of the loop.

That's a bit of a tough question to answer. You have to consider how long they will be of any use and if someone is prepated to shell out for one considering a starview 4 gets round the nagra encryption and only costs £80.00 new.

At a guess I'd say around the £20-£30 mark ish.

sad to say i also have useless boxes at home.ordered four genuine starview 4 usb boxes two days before Nagra 3 got rolled out.stil in the box.mite not be useless to everybody tho so if anybody in the UK or anywhere else wants them, let me know.......
