Although I do sometimes use cheap disks, I would not recommend to anyone else. In order to make sure you dont put to much strain on your drive, you are best buying Vertabims

We see this time and time again. Someone trying to penny pinch and save money. Seriously, Verbatims are not that expensive. You are probably getting the 60$(USD) game for free so don't go with crap discs. Spend the money and get Verbatim.

unbelieveable. then they wont work or will skip, and we will be asked why. so all in all he is going to be out more money by buying crap media, because in the end he is most likely going to have to buy verbatiums

go with verbatim... i just got a spindle of 50 from the newer version of the memorex discs and they were junk. I used to always have memorex and they worked great but im not taking any more chances with them. I will be sticking with verbatim from here on out because i never had a coaster with them. It is well worth it.

What some of you seem to forget is there is a workd outside of the U.S and in the U.K we get raped on the prices of disks and stuff. I have to pay £30 for 25 disks thats around $50-$60, so pardon me for wanting to see if there is a cheaper option. If I knew that they didn't work I wouldn't have asked. I DO buy Verbatims but I was only asking if there was a cheaper option.

Even if you do pay the £30 for 25 disks, that is still alot better than paying £920 for 25 legitimate 360 games. I don't see why you are complaining.

Legitimate or not, people will still cry about the cost of Verbatim. You might as well spend the money now and get quality discs. If you don't, it will eventually catch up to you in the long run.

2 bucks a disc is chump change. you're getting the game for free, so why are you complaining about having to spend 2 measly dollars on a disc. perhaps you're in the wrong recreational activity.

can i just burn the image over 5 cds and then change them out when needed while i'm playing? i can pick up a spindle of 100 cd's for 7 bucks at costco or sams club.
also... can i flash my sega genesis to play backup xbox 360 games. 360's are so expensive and my genesis is just lying around collecting dust.
google has been no help. thanks in advance.
