Quick Google shows "0020 (Not yet known, possibly overheating)". If this is the case xclamp may work. Make sure you do a decent job on cleaning and reapplying heat paste on CPU & GPU. Would check you fans too.

Although, I'm not sure this is the error your getting. Double check by following this.....

* Turn the xbox 360 on, and wait till the 3 red lights are flashing.
* Press and hold the sync up button (the small white one), while holding that button press the eject button.
* The LEDs will now blink the first number in the code (as described below).
* Release the eject button and press it again.
* The LEDs will now blink the second number of the code.
* Release the eject button and press it again.
* The LEDs will now blink the third number of the code.
* Release the eject button and press it again.
* The LEDs will now blink the forth number of the code.
* Release the eject button and press it again.
* The LEDs will go back to the 3 red flashing lights.

You should be able to determine the difference between the 3 flashing lights and the error code lights by the rate in which they flash.

Here is how you interpret the LEDs to get the code number:

* All four lights flashing - 0
* One light flashing - 1
* Two Lights flashing - 2
* Three lights flashing - 3

As you can see from my post,

Quote:
* All four lights flashing - 0
* One light flashing - 1
* Two Lights flashing - 2
* Three lights flashing - 3

There is no 4.

I am 100% sure that all four lights flasing = 0 , therefore you cant have a secondary error code of 0024. You must be mistaken. The dude you have linked to is incorrect also.

Multiple site to show potential error codes below,

http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/repair/Xbox-360-error-codes.htm

http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=484726

As you can see, this is no 4!

Just follow the instructions I posted and you will get the correct error code. Post back when you have done it and we will help.

He he. No Problems :D

If the warranty is expired, then yes do the Xclamp fix. Unfortunetly, there is not that much info on the 0020 error. Would suggest that you use decent thermal paste such as Arctic Silver and check the fans are running OK. Let us know how you get on.

I did the hybrid x-clamp fix and it worked without having to let it overheat. Thanks for the help, I am going to flash it today and use as a backup 360.

Yeah 0020 is usually a GPU power problem saying it can't start with not enough power.

Here's what I think the common errors are:

0020: GPU power error (can override 0102 error if there's multiple problems)
0021: Southbridge error or DVD drive timeout
0022: GPU connection to southbridge
0102: GPU failure (cold solder joint) <-most common
0103: GPU failure (same as above but different cold solder joint)
0110: RAM error (or GPU connection to the RAM from cold solder joints) fairly common <-
1022: E74: GPU connection to AHA/HANA chip <-also fairly common
