I have a homebrewfirmware (probably 3.71 m33 - but can't be sure as the PSP doesn't work anymroe to check), I got my PSP back from a friend recently and I think he screwed up the memory stick. I connected the PSP to the comp and was trying to put some games in but what I saw was 3 folders VHS, lang and one more (instead of media, games etc. - the general folders that you get in a modded PSP formatted memory stick), without thinking I deleted all three and boom there goes my PSP, it doesn't switch on anymore, all that happens is the light turns green when i try to switch it on and then dies.
Have I managed to brick my PSP :( if yes, is there a way that I can relioad the firmware or somehow switch it on and figure out what needs to be done.
^ No idea, unless you did the same.
AFAIK, it's a full, perfect, FYITA Brick. HOWEVER, a pandora's battery and a magic memory stick MAY be able to fix it. It's worth a shot.
I recommend Rain's mms maker with Hellcat's flasher. (build the mms with rains, then read hellcat's readme to find out how to replace DDC with Hellcat's.
