Aloha,
I was wondering if anyone knew the approximate release date of Natal. Also, has anyone experienced this new technology via a convention or something similar?...
Aloha,

I've seen the videos, no experience myself. There has been no announcement about a release date, but rumours are speculating that the release date could be released soon. Thats a tongue twister!

During my visit at E3 I was able to try the racing game. It was very realistic feeling especially if you chose standard and had to shift. Although it felt like it was missing a solid object to actually solidify the act. I am expecting the release date is soon because they had a solid working prototype.

It's supposed to be late next year. Probably right in time for X-Mas..

Yeah, like I said. Late next year, in time for Christmas. That's at least what Microsoft is shooting for. In case you need a little 3rd party research - http://news.cnet.com/8301-13860_3-10305639-56.html

At my visit to E3 I played Burnout Paradise and I found it was a lot better than I expected. It did almost 1 to 1 motion. Which is spectacular. Anyway I believe it will be a bit earlier than Christmas considering I was using a working copy at E3.

Yes I've been hearing late 2010. August 2010 is not too far-fetched.

Yeah, it may be ready for Burnout, but you have to realize what all they are planning to do with Natal. They probably need to fine tune voice recognition (which I have yet to see a demo of). They will also have to develop a new update for the 360, which will take full advantage of Natal with it's web chat features (the demo shows people trying on samples of clothing in real time). I still even have yet to see a demo which demonstrates facial recognition. Just because it can sense motion already doesn't mean it is coming out this year. haha

It won't be out for a while, you will know when it is though, the advertising will be able to rival that of a Presidential election.

I'll go with 22.6%
