Is it possible for the mods to get a counter going on how many people ask this question? I would say we could add it to the sticky thread, BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE READ THEM (hint hint hint)... Instead because im too lazy to do a search or read the stickies on my own I will just waste everyone else's time and take up space on message boards asking the same question that has been already asked (insert number of stupid/lazy people) times.
But in the end theres no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people.

Ah but you are wrong glassd, games can easily be backed up, only problem is playing the backups on the ps3 :D
Please read the post carefully and reply with the specific answer, who knows this person may just want to make a collection of blue-ray coasters, you never know ;)

i would not call somthing that is not usable for its intended purpose a back up. Bluray disk are near scratch proof, no need to back them up. If you want to be able to steal games, thats a different question.

#1 The Sticky thread is from 2008
#2 But that doesn't matter anyway as all of the info gets updated/removed/added regularly etc
#3 The specific question you asked is answered with this in the Sticky ~
Quote: **PS3 Backups as of 7/2009 cannot be played yet**
That is not info from 2 years ago. More like 2 months ago.

Speaking of wasting time... I'm trying to figure out which wasted more... that, or a simple "no".
