Ok, i know that theres loads of information about doing a wii system update with a softmod installed, BUT i cant seem to find info anywhere that answers my specific questions, so i am hoping that someone can help shed some light for me...

I have a 3.2E Wii, Softmodded with bannerbomb so I have HBC and USBLoaderGX (forwarder) channel. I would quite like to updatem to 4.1E to get access to Wii Shop channel, latest version of internet channel and SDHC support, so therefor please can someone tell me the best way to perform the update? Do i need to change some IOS's first or something? What are the risks? Am I likely to lose my USB Loader GX channel? Im a bit worried because my Wii wont read burned DVD's (I tried RiDiscs, Verbatims, Taiyo Yudens and cheap unbranded media and NONE work at all and no-one can explain why!?!) so i NEED my USB Loader Channel!

Please assist if you can, most of all I want the latest internet channel, i heard they updated the flash player on it - YIPPEE!

Regards,

Tegan1110

(*) My backups are LEGALLY MADE COPIES of games I already own, I have got 3 Sticky fingered children, each with their own Wii in their room, so the backups are made of the originals, and the originals stored in the loft incase of scratching, fingerprints or other miscellaneous damage. I own a RETAIL COPY of all backups that I make. I DO NOT CONDONE PIRACY!

The guide is very foolproof bud, it covers all aspects in the first couple of paragraphs to tell you which steps you need to take.

Ok yeah, i read it more thoroughly and understood that all i needed to do was update to 4.1e through ninty's servers, Run install IOS60Patched.wad, then run IOS Downgrader.

Simples!

Ty, sorry for being a div! haha!
