I've got some spare time over the next week (suspected swine flu) so I decided to mod my controller. But I'm not sure what size led's I should order to replace the four green led's though. If anybody knows what type I should get that would be great. I'm going to paint the controller a sexy red and the d-pad, thumbstick and the grey part near the headset jack white.

Any help appreciated.

You will want SMD LEDs, as those are the ones that are used on the controller.

You can go here, which shows ya how to install LEDs for the mod, and removing the old LEDs.

Sorry to hear about the suspected swine flu. Hopefully you don't have it!

I use:
these for the controller

these for the power/ring of light

16 of these for the interior

These are all blue, but you can match specs for whatever color you want.

(Regular shipping always arrives in 2 days, Oklahoma City to Chicago)

If it's your 1st time, I'd suggest ordering extra 0603's for the controller and ring-of-light.

Thanks for your help. I will check out my local electronics store this weekend if I'm feeling up to it, if they don't have them I guess I will have to wait for shipping from uniqueleds.com.
