I've just sent in Xbox for repair, as it was just in the 3 yr warranty. What happens now, is there a NEW 3 year warranty, or is the same one?

You should get a one year warranty on the system you get back.

Odd. I just sent in 2 consoles for repair and they gave 3 months standard warranty on the consoles.

3 months as leerage stated. if you want proof ill post my 15+ currently registered xboxs that have been sent in the past 6 months to prove that the ones older than 3 months dont have a warranty anymore.

Will do. Just googled it and saw other people had 90 day warranties like you, but it's still there in black and white, so a very tricky one.

in wj99 defense though, i havent had any problems sending consoles in after the 3 year warranty is up. the last one i sent in was from like feb of 2006 and they didnt care.
